Unknown Sounds host, Pete Saxer, believes the best music is not heard on mainstream radio. It’s not in the huge venues or the big-name media. It’s in bedrooms of teenagers struggling to make sense, it’s in basements of thirty-somethings finally giving in to their need to make music…it’s in the head of a guy with a guitar, a girl with an idea and with an app that can help them get their music down. Unknown Sounds celebrates these artists. The show plays only unsigned and independent bands and solo artists that send us their music. Unknown Sounds represents those musicians that have no representation.

Unknown Sounds features all types of music – rock, techno, dance, punk, acoustic, and much more. In a casual atmosphere, you can chill out listening to new music from around the world. Unknown Sounds is a show where the musicians can feel at home, like they have a

friend at the radio station, because they do. The show supports and promotes all the bands and artists and Pete is always available to answer any questions or concerns. We help and encourage the artists by promoting them on our Unknown Sounds and Revenge FM Facebook pages, Unknown Sounds Instagram and Twitter pages, Revenge FM YouTube Channel and also through the Unknown Sounds Heroes Chart on the Revenge FM website. And of course we play their original songs on Unknown Sounds which makes for a really good show! So if you want your music to be on the show, just have a look here: Unknown Sounds Submissions. We look forward to hearing from you.

Until then, keep listening and keep supporting unsigned and independent music.
